Your new CENTURY replacement carpet is an excellent reproduction of the
carpets used in most domestic vehicles from the 1950s through 1973.
Your new CENTURY carpet is the only carpet in the industry tufted
from 80% rayon & 20% nylon. It is tufted on a 5/32 gauge loop
tufting machine & contains 24 ounces of yarn per square yard, making
your new carpet very dense and ensuring unmatched resistance to
wear for years to come.
This carpet is dyed in a continuous range operation with special
chemicals added to reduce fading, in many cases far outlasting the
older OEM carpets. It is also tested for ozone humidity fading and
lightfastness for maximum lifespan, adding resale value to your
BUICK CENTURY .
Our computer-aided cutting-edge manufacturing process and the strictest
quality control in the industry ensures that your new CENTURY carpet
will fit perfectly!
This style carpet may be molded (preformed), for cars manufactured in
the 1960's or later. Most 80/20 carpets prior to 1960s were not
molded, although there were exceptions. If unsure which style you
need, just ask us.
More recent makes are all molded, greatly easing and reducing
installation time.
There are no special tools or glue required - in fact it can be
installed easily in one afternoon using some basic tools.
For maximum comfort it may also be can be rubber latex or polyethylene
backed as an option, providing extra heat insulation and reducing road
noise at the same time. Your new CENTURY carpet also features
color-matched bindings for the perfect finishing touch.
Also note:
* This carpet is the only carpet in the industry tufted from 80% rayon &
20% nylon.
* If the factory original OEM carpet you are replacing featured a heel
pad or a dimmer switch (grommet) hole, your replacement carpet from us
will also have it in the correct location.
* Our listed color choices are laser-matched to the original OEM
specifications - the samples listed may be a bit off as different
computer monitors render colors differently.
* For installation some trimming may be required around the doors - the
excess is intentional and not a flaw.
* Colors listed in the dropdown menu are the only colors available at
this time.
* While we take great care and are proud of our quality control, ensure
the correct fit prior to cutting or altering your new CENTURY carpet.

quality DuPont yarn, tufted on a 1/8 gauge machine with 14 ounces of
yarn per square yard, making your new carpet very dense and ensuring
unmatched resistance to wear for years to come.
This carpet is dyed in a continuous range operation with special
chemicals added to reduce fading, in many cases far outlasting the
older OEM carpets. It is also tested for ozone humidity fading and
lightfastness for maximum lifespan, adding resale value to your
BUICK CENTURY .

* The face yarn of the Daytona carpet is 100% nylon.
* The backing yarn is 30% nylon, 40% cotton & 30% rayon.
* The total weight is 28 ounces per square yard with foam backing.
* The Daytona carpet is 54" wide & is available in foam back only.
* The Daytona carpet can only be used in cut & sew applications. It cannot be molded.
